Wantek® h602 2.5mm Cisco Phone Headset

I work from home and needed a headset that would work with a landline phone and be comfortable to wear for lots of long phone calls. I searched Amazon and this one was reasonably priced and got good reviews. I've been using it for about two weeks now and it has been perfect. No earbuds falling out and the people I'm speaking with say they can hear me clearly. Perfectly meets my needs!

While this headset is much larger than the picture shows - the microphone boom is bulky. Volume adjustment could be improved, but similar to my old Plantronics M175. Expect the heavier cord to help this headset last longer (i.e. better reliability) than headsets with more delicate cords. Highly recommend moving to the biaural version model A602 for comfort. It is easy to move one earpiece to the side if you (like me) prefer to have only one ear covered at a time.

Given the price, this headset is a great deal. We only use it a couple of hours a day but it is very comfortable to wear. Incoming sound is very good and we have not had anyone say that they cannot hear us.

I didn’t realize until it’s arrival that I ordered the wrong size headphones for my laptop port (2.5mm vs 3.5mm). The Wantek seller responded to my claim immediately & offered to provide a replacement. I had already purchased another headphone set at that point. While the previous pair didn’t work out for me, I will say that the quality was top tier. I would definitely recommend Wantek for their great customer service and quality products.

Love this headset. It replaced a Plantronics that was similar but what a great surprise when I tried these for the first time. It’s worlds beyond my old one in which ultimately, the head band broke. This head band is a bit tight and since I wear glasses, can get uncomfortable after a while. That’s the only con. The sound quality is fantastic! I would buy again and highly recommend.

I am a little hard of hearing and this product eliminated the difficulty I was having on my phone. The sound quality is very good.

This headset has served well so far after about 3 months of use intermittently. It is comfortable, sounds good, has been reliable, and generally seems to do what you would expect of a phone headset. It's wired of course, which I prefer. I can't speak to noise cancelation as I haven't really used it in noisy environments. But as a basic corded headset, this seems to work well

I purchased this to replace a Plantronics headset that was perhaps 10 years old. This unit is heavier than the Plantronics, about half the price, and more sturdily fabricated than the other. I thought I might not like it because it's heavier, but the extra weight is not noticeable while being worn, however the extra weight gives the impression of durability and ruggedness. The sound quality incoming is excellent, crisp and clear, and those (whom I asked) said the outgoing was the same. The manufacturer refers to this unit as a "call center headset," which is an indication of why it's so strongly built. The price is right. I plan to buy another.

Since working from home it is essential to be comfortable on back to back conference call and still get something done. The noise cancelling works great it makes it easier to stay on topic. The microphone let you get your point across and the head set stays on even when you bend over. A great investment to make working from home a little less painful.

Comfortable. Sturdy. No static when I move the connector. I use this for an old Panasonic cordless phone set. I finally gave up on my last headset when it started making a lot of static regardless of the phone it was plugged into. This one is silent. And the build is excellent. I use the headset a lot for both work and personal calls. Hate having to hold the phone! I will update this review in a couple of months after I've worked with it for a while.

I use this headset at home with a Panasonic cordless phone for hands-free conversations with family, and friends. This is the third or fourth brand I've tried, and it is by far the best performing and most comfortable to wear. My previous Wantek's cord developed a short after a couple of years ( my fault-the phone slipped out of my pocket and was left dangling from the headset, pitting unplanned strain of the cord), so I immediately ordered a new one. The sound is even better than the old one, and nobody complains about not being able to hear me.

I have in the ear hearing aids which can start to feel sore after a long call. With some talkers I can hear well with the headset without the hearing aids. I like to wear the headset on a call longer than a few minutes so my hands are free to do other things than hold the phone. The set does cancel some outside noice, I like the volume control. and the sound quality is good.

I use this headset at home on a cordless telephone that I am not able to hold onto easily. The headset provides a clear call. The ease of turning up the volume is wonderful. It stays in place for hours without causing a headache. Great price for a great headset.

I loved my first Wantek headset and bought a second one. Now, whichever panasonic handset I pick up is hands-free and I'm able to move around the house or garden doing tasks while I talk with family and friends.

I had ordered this headset but people couldn’t hear me so I returned it. I then received an email from this wonderful company. They sent me a new headset that worked perfectly. They made sure it worked. This is something you I never expected. Buy this headset if your phone uses the 2.5 jack. Great customer service.

When I first purchased this headset, I ordered the 2.5m jack and it did not fit my devices. After wanting to return the headset, Wantek reached out to me and worked with me to make sure I received the 3.5m jack. The headset came today and the sound is very clear and the noise cancellation is wonderful! I have looked for a headset for years and finally found one I am very pleased with. I LOVE this headset! At first, I thought it wasn't compatible with my phone because it didn't transmit the sound of inputting the phone number, but once I realized that it WAS compatible with my Panasonic phones I was very impressed. The sound is excellent, clear and the volume can be adjusted. I've owned many headsets and these are by far the best I've ever owned!
