Wantek® h311 mono 2.5mm headset for phone

I had a horrible time replacing my 'dead' headset for my landline phones and the two that I had bought at Office Depot were both not right. This one works well but it lacks the little plastic piece that hooks over the ear to hold it in place. But I am done returning and replacing and I'm not even sure that what I used to have exists any more. And this works well, other than it feels less secure on my head than the previous (many) I used to be able to buy. And it works better than the brands that I had bought at Office Depot and had to return. Have only had it for a few months so can offer no info on 'longevity' but these things in the past seem to give out after a few years (various brands..)

This is the 3rd purchase of this headset that pairs to my Panasonic cordless phones in my home. I like the the headset fit and ability to have my hands-free for taking notes while talking. It has only the single earpiece and each set has had the earpiece covering deteriorate and come separated from the headset bracket. I have tried to reattach it with glue or shoe goo which lasts for a few months but ultimately it does not reattach even though the speaker in the earpiece still works. Seems to be a recurring defect in this product.

I've ordered two of these, they're great because they're comfortable. They have good clarity and the best part for me is that it keeps me from experiencing elbow pain.
